Who writes Frugal Upstate?
After 11 years as an Army Logistic Officer, Jenn traded her combat boots for tennis shoes and became stay at home mom and wife in Upstate New York. Combining her love of writing with her passion for saving money she created Frugal Upstate in Jan 06.
Professionally, she is a blogger, speaker, voice over artist, Master Food Preserver and trainer for the Cornell Cooperative Extension and social media consultant specializing in local businesses. She’s also an experienced canner and gardener, a novice guitar player, an orange belt in karate, a frequent church volunteer, an involved theater mom and of course a loving wife and mother.
